This is a picture of our very first hike. Kj took along a water-bottle in her new holder. She could take a sip at any break she needed! It was a great incentive...also having Curl Grandma, Aunt R and cousin N to hold hands with. No complaints from this sweet hiker!

Hiking with Toddlers
Last week was a family reunion-vacation week. We had such a great time and were able to do a lot of hiking despite the fact that most of the cousins had toddlers. We kind of cycled through a few helpful hiking options. We strapped them on with our Moby, had them take turns hiking, and jumped them in a Kelty kid carrier. We had some troupers!!

Hats...
Found an adult hat pattern to match some that Roxanne made for the girls after L's birth. So, I decided to make a few for my aunt. The pattern (in case the link doesn't work someday) is a 7 1/4" circle (or two: one with cotton for the outside, one with flannel for next to the head is nice), and a rectangle 17 x 21 1/2". May have to make some for myself for the winter!! My mom is making some flower things...can't remember the name...it will come to me once I post this.
