I have wanted to do this for a while, but haven't gotten around to it. I decided that for warmth in the winter and a decorative home made touch, my girls' room could use this quilt hung in it. After sewing the casing for a rod, wanted to find a bare screw alternative... My friend had a Montessori inspired book shelf that she made, and I was wondering where she got the hangers...well, I just found a tutorial for the book shelf she made.
Found the hardware, a single rod hanger just like the double in the tutorial. I just used a wooden dowel for the rod. In the future, we may paint the ends to make them a little nicer looking, but for now it is just fine.
