Kevin and I slept in a bit this Saturday. We could hear L and Kj in playing with Mn, who was still in his crib. Eventually, they came in saying he needed a new diaper. "Well, can you get him out?" Kevin replied. "Sure," was Kj's confident answer. She brings him in, I get up to change his diaper and have him use the potty. He runs off and they all head downstairs. I crawl back in with Kevin. We hear breakfast noises in the kitchen below us. Then, L runs into our room, "We're ready for breakfast!" "What do you need?" "Nothing, but YOU!" she emphatically replies.
Ahhh! To be needed, but a little less lightly. What a fun progression in parenting.
